"Early in my career, I grew disappointed in traditional medicine. The push to see more and more patients in a short period of time, and pushing medications was very disheartening. My goal for my patients was not to have them end up with a list of an infinite amount of medication; I wanted to lead them to a true healing process. The stars aligned and I ended up re-connecting with Dr. Aguilar, and realized we shared the same goals. We work as a team, making our vision come true. Now spending time to get to know my patients, their struggles, their symptoms, their successes, family life, job, hobbies, stressors allows me to provide personalized, effective, proactive care. Educating our patients, and giving them the right tools to achieve health is our responsibility as health care workers serving our community"
